How Demons “Work” - a personal experience and observation

After my personal battle with what I came to know as demons actively working to affect my life and crash it into ashes, I wanted to share this story for anyone who may be experiencing the same bad luck and to let them know, there is victory.

I’ve shared my story before about my encounter with what I believe to be a demon, and I’ve had dreams being …ermm “Attacked” by succubi. Ive seen visions of demons. Let’s just say Hollywood and shows like “Evil” on Netflix show a cute form of demons compared to what they actually envisage.

The patterns I’ve noticed from demons are not only observed by me, but openly shared by Catholic Exorcists’ such as Father martens in his podcast “The Exorcist Files”

In one particularly harrowing retelling - he tells of the demon “murder” and recounts how this demon was the demon that compels people to commit the act. Martens recounts his various encounters with several demons that are thus named, not as pronouns, but si(n)mply the sins they are associated with.

So how does this work in our day-to-day life?

One thing we know is that Angels and Demons (Fallen Angels) exist outside of our space-time; they exist everywhere all at once. This leads me to personally believe they operate in a higher dimension than us. That is why we must have faith in Yahweh because Yahweh simply is, he is the uncreated one, he is timeless, eternal. We simply cannot wrap our heads around his existent non-existence.

Because we have free will and the ability to choose freedom through Jesus and Yahweh, the main directive of a demon, or fallen angel, is to bring us down to their level, to create misery and suffering within our psyche, on a soul level.

According to Father Martens', demons are in a constant state of rebellion. which makes sense - since we are made in the image of God: They HATE us.

So, how can a demon and demons interact with us in our plane of existence, when we cant see them, hear, feel, them or touch them? Part of that answer lies within the Genesis 6 narrative, but I want to offer my own personal observation of my interpretation.

Established is that demons exist timelessly and some are sins, I posit that the way demons act through us is, in one form, emotionally.

Imagine for a second, a scene of a person walking down a busy city street. The human interaction may looks like this:

The camera follows a woman, hurriedly striding down the sidewalk, looking far ahead to see if she will make the crosswalk light before it begins is “Don’t Walk” countdown. As she pulls out her phone to check the time, a man bumps into her. She apologizes, he gruffs and continues in the opposite direction.

The first thought that comes to mind is “What a butthead! How dare he, stupid, careless man.” Then it’s followed by some choice expletives in her head, racial slurs & curse words she would NEVER say out loud. Tempting her to actually speak them out loud.

She brushes the though off, “Wow, thats not normally like me.”

As she regains her train of thought, she approaches the crosswalk, makes it across just in time to get held up at the next crosswalk. A few pedestrians back, impatiently waiting, the sign turns and the people to the left and to the right start shuffling across, but the people directly in front of her arent moving.

Already upset from her previous interaction, she pushes by and notices a younger woman, probably in her late teens or early twenties on her phone, seemingly oblivious to the world holding everyone up.

“Of course, some stupid, entitled b-tch is on her f—-ing phone.” she says aggressively as she purposefully buries her shoulder in the young womans arm.

Two timelines erupt from here. Both women continue about there day in a similar fashion, emotionally based evil words churning through their mind, their interactions for the remainder of the day darkened by these events that unfolded at the start of their day, spreading their misery to others as they come into contact with them.

Now, lets take a look at this sequence of events through a supernatural worldview.

The man, infested with negativity of his demons from his relationship failure sees a woman walking that looks so close to that of his girlfriend who he just found was cheating on him.
Purposefully he maneuvers himself so that he can run into her, a chance at revenge, however undue, for himself.

The demon of pettiness and anger now multiplies and follows the woman. With her, he whisper the racial expletives, the curse words, words that she now thinks and is tempted to speak. Knowing what’s coming at the intersection the demon fosters and spurs these emotions so that it can have just a small chance to transfer and multiply itself once more onto the young girl.

This would translate well for many sins, especially the seven deadly sins. One sin we see this with is Pride. “Selling Entitlement” is on of the biggest vanities in America and Western Culture.

Luxury cars, first class, frivolous spending on jewelry like watches and necklaces, rings, earrings. Insane markups on perfume and other items because of it’s “Brand” identity

Just because it’s a logo in our dimension, doesnt mean it doesnt have a life in another… but’s thats a blog post for another day.

In my own life, I’ve been a sinner for many of these demons, passing them on to others. Though I am not proud of those acts that I committed 10, 15, even 20 years ago - I can learn from them and seek forgiveness from the Almighty. Knowing he allowed me to fall so that I may rise again. The Japanese concept for continuous improvement is “kaizen” and this is perfectly embodied in seeking out the way, the truth, and the light.

We may sin, we may curse others, we may fall short of what we know we are able to do, but if we didn’t do these things, if we didn’t fail, if we didn’t sin, if we were perfect, we shouldn’t be human and we wouldn’t know the true value of what we are fighting for and we wouldn’t even become aware of the war that is being fought to save our souls.
